Desist from changing the breed name and location of origin for the Lucas Terrier on this page to the so-called "Cornish Terrier." Not only did Jocelyn Lucas originate the breed in Herts., he never lived in Cornwall. Enid Plummer, who assisted Lucas, moved there after Sir Jocelyn's death, but he never saw need to rename the dogs during his lifetime. Furthermore, neither the UK or USA clubs have discussed changing the official name of the Lucas Terrier to the "Plummer Terrier" in her honor (that is an entirely different dog), or the "Cornish Terrier," because of her brief residence there, or for any other reason.
