Comments

  • " She performed at the Blackpool Grand Theatre" performed what?
removed, not lead worthy
  • "The role earned her..." she's still doing it so shouldn't it be "The role has earned her..."
Done
  • "National Television Award for Serial Drama Performance" according to the template, this is called the "Outstanding Serial Drama Performance".
Done
  • Infobox caption is really verbose, just when it was taken (i.e. 2018) would be sufficient, the rest is quite irrelevant to the photo.
Done
  • Infobox, years active, does that only start with when she became Wikipedia notable, because the article clearly states she was "active" i.e. acting, before Corrie?
yes, I could not find a source which specifically states what year she was in the pantomime so I used the year she debuted on Corrie as the year she started her professional career. She herself said in an interview that this was her first proper acting job.

Have been called away, more later... The Rambling Man (Staying alive since 2005!) 15:26, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • "From the age of two, Fallon studied singing, dancing and drama at the Barbara Jackson Theatre Arts Centre" etc... shouldn't that go in before her going to the Hodgson Academy?
Done
  • "For financial reasons," probably needs explanation because she had private lessons in London at LAMDA, that wasn't free was it?
in the interview she says: "I got offered foundation courses for both of those, but it was quite expensive so I couldn't afford to go." she didn't give any specific reason other than that it was too expensive. Also, I'm not sure about her time at LAMDA, all she says in the interview is 'I did LAMDA exams'. so I'm not sure she even attended that school, I think she'd say if she did. I think she might've only took the Introductory exam: https://www.lamda.ac.uk/our-exams/all-examinations/introductory-examinations/introductory.
  • Ah, she was in pantomime. Is that really prominent enough for the lead? Or, if you keep it in the lead, then perhaps just add "pantomime" to the lead sentence I noted earlier.
removed
  • "The actress was 19 .." -> "She was 19..."
Done
  • A lot of the Corrie section revolves purely around the character she plays rather than about her.
tweaked the section a bit so that it stays focused on her and not the character
  • Any reviews from anyone who doesn't work for The Guardian?!
couldn't find anything that would focus on her as an actress and not the character
  • "the Serial Drama Performance " -> "the Outstanding Serial Drama Performance "
Done
  • "Nominee/work" this is an odd title for a column which just contains Coronation Street and not Lucy Fallon. You might as well drop the column altogether and add a note that says all awards were won for Fallon's portrayal of Bethany Platt in Coronation Street.
Done

Otherwise nothing much to add. A neat article, just a few minor quibbles above to deal with, so I'll put it on hold. The Rambling Man (Staying alive since 2005!) 16:10, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@The Rambling Man: thanks for the review. really appreciate it. I made some changes and left replies under your comments. ArturSik (talk) 19:08, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

No worries. It's a brief article but since the individual in question is clearly notable, and talented enough to get a few awards, the subject matter has been covered well enough. It's compliant with the GA criteria, so I'm happy to pass it, good luck, and don't hesitate to let me know if you'd like me to review anything else in the future, cheers.
