IPA

[edit]

I think there is missing a "ʃ" in the IPA for Hoogstraeten between "xˈ" and "t" like it's always pronounced in German, but I'm not sure because of the Dutch origin of the word. --Kenny McFly (talk) 11:59, 23 January 2016 (UTC) (See my German page and talk to me)[reply]

Jewish ancestry

[edit]

I've messed around on dewiki and found out that the only Jewish ancestry he had is his great-great-grandfather Ludwig Moritz Erlanger, born Leb Moses, but who got himself baptized in the 1820s. Which even going "by blood" would make him like 1/16, notwithstanding his ancestor's conversion. I'm not aware of anybody with such a small amount of Jewish ancestry being persecuted specifically for that. Synotia (moan) 10:07, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
