Disputable death details[edit]

This page gives his death date as 31 July 1944 but his Polish wikipedia article gives it as August 1944. A Polish language article on Polish footballers ( ^[1] killed in WWII specifies his death date as 23 August 1944 and states he died as a prisoner of Auschwitz-Birkenau although the Polish wikipedia article suggests he died in Germany while in transit on train from Auschwitz to Natzweiler in occupied France.
