In art

[edit]

I find the last two sentences of this section problematic. They are "Luffa cylindrica fruits were decorated for the first time in art of the Byzantine era in Israel only." and "The fruits were decorated on mosaics of churches and synagogues in Israel.". First of all, the word "decorated" appears to be being used in error, probably to mean something like "represented". Secondly, what meaning are the words "in Israel only" supposed to convey? Luffas were "decorated" in Israel only? Or they were "decorated" in the art of the Byzantine era in Israel only? Or they were "decorated" for the first time in the art of the Byzantine era in Israel only? Misha Wolf (talk) 18:01, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
