The hero in Lufia is 17 years old. He was born in Lufia 2. If this game takes place 20 years after Lufia 2, then it takes place *after* Lufia and is the third in the series chronologically, not the second. Ken Arromdee 03:59, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually the original Lufia takes place 100 years after Lufia 2. This is mentioned in the game's intro as well as the manual. So this chronology for the series is Rise of the Sinistrals, Ruins of Lore, Fortress of Doom, The Legend Returns.

Reception[edit]

The current Criticism section seems relatively biased stating that the game was buggy and met with "harsh criticism" while citing no references to back this up. While some fans may have no liked it the game actually got fairly positive reviews earning an aggregated score of 76/100 from Metacritic. I'm changing the section to reflect this.

cleaned up second person[edit]

Hi folks

I went through and cleaned up the second person "you"s strewn about. Further editing may be needed to make the page read better.

Note: This page reads like a "Tips and Tricks" page in certain section, this will also need to be fixed up at some point. Specifically: "It's a good idea to switch jobs between the three to ensure a large variety of moves for each character, such as healing and attack spells for everyone. A typical setup would be to make both Eldin and Torma assume fighting-style jobs while Rami assumes magical-oriented ones, though this reduces diversity in skill among the three."
