Went to Nagasaki?
[edit]I've read that when Puccini decided to write Madama Butterfly, neither he nor David Belasco nor John Luther Long had ever been to Japan, so Luigi Illica went to Nagasaki to begin the writing. Can this be confirmed? -- JackofOz (talk) 06:12, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
