Unemployment rate in context

While during the current recession, unemployment has grown by half in PR (from the 10-11 pct range to the 15-16 pct range), it has doubled nationally (from the 4-5 pct range to the 9-10 pct range). Where the numbers are coming from? The problem is not consensus but lack of sources (wp:v). I don't negate the fact that unemployment has risen, but the stats (ex.100% above the national jobless rate) are not statically possible. --Jmundo (talk) 22:18, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
