Historic stories about racism?

[edit]

There are plenty of stories in the archives about Luke Johnson and racism.

Not proven, "he said, she said etc", but worth mentioning? If sourced??

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-431927/Race-allegations-return-haunt-Channel-4-boss.html

It will also fill in a pattern when Johnson often tries to defend people that have been accused of assult of racist behaviour.

It is an important point to make, if there is a pattern of behaviour, and if sourced properly on a Wiki profile.

My edit of 15 October 2018

[edit]

More details of the edit and reasons:

General principle of sub-paragraphs accepted. Inserted two further sub-headings to follow the principle of dividing a “monster paragraph” into sensible sub-paragraphs. Replaced the deleted reference to the Sky News item which precipitated the crisis. It is absolutely essential to show that the crisis was not revealed by the company, it was revealed by the media. Why?

Collected all information about the company's AIM market history prior to the suspension in the first subsection.

Corrected date of suspension.

Made minor edits so that the events of each day during the development of the crisis are collected logically together.

Deleted reference to misappropriation of money from Johnson and other shareholders - there is no allegation of misappropriation at this stage.

Changed 'go bust' to 'fail'.

Added note that two-thirds of Johnson's loans will be repaid by the proceeds of the placing.

Changed 'Johnson's loan package' to 'The rescue plan' because it is not Johnson's loans alone that saved the company but the whole package.

Requested citation for the claim that Johnson has never sold shares – I think that assertion is incorrect.

IMPORTANT- I anticipate that when the crisis is eventually concluded the majority of these paragraphs can be deleted and replaced with a reference to an external source describing the events - but it's important to keep the chronology intact at this stage.
