Back in the Real World...[edit]

Could someone maybe add in details of where all this stuff comes from? If it's comics, which comics and who published them and when and where? Cite sources and all that....

Yes, she is indeed a character from the 1970s "Star Wars" comics published by Marvel. According to the last external link on the current version of the article, the references are the old Marvel Comics, issues 60-61, 63, 88, 95, 96, 100 and on, and "Lumiya: Dark Star of the Empire", a West End Games supplement published in Star Wars Galaxy Magazine #3. Vong apprentice[edit]

Where is this info on a Vong apprentice? --Psi edit

Here Although as far as I know right now the fact that Lumiya is the master is just fan speculation at the moment. --JoJoTrue 15:39, 25 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

That isn't canon. --User:Jedi6 11-1-05
It is in the Jans Orr section ("There is a dangerous Force-strong Yuuzhan Vong loose in the galaxy, and judging from her powers, it is clear that she hasa master . . ."?), and it is canon- Wizards, and more generally, RPG/Games info on characters is canon except for game mechanics. That is story, so it does not fall into that exception. --Maru (talk) Contribs 05:08, 1 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think he was saying that the info isn't canon, but rather that the fan speculation isn't canon. Which would be correct.

Accurate History[edit]

In the succession box it lists Darth Krayt as the succesor of Lumiya after she rules as Dark Lady by herself. What happened to Jacen Solo becoming her sith apprentice?

What source has Jacen as her apprentice? --Jon Hart 20:04, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
'e's probably referring to Betrayal. I haven't read it, so I can't comment further... --maru (talk) contribs 23:53, 8 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It goes like this, I believe. Lumiya --> Jacen Solo --> Darth Krayt I've changed is as such. Also, Flint and Carnor Jax were not Dark Lords of the Sith. They were apprentices. I have changed it as such. RelentlessRouge 16:35, 23 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Correct me if I'm wrong, but as of the end of Betrayal, Jacen had agreed only to further explore the teachings of the Sith. As far as I know, he had not pledged himself as Lumiya's apprentice, and certainly had not become a Dark Lord of the Sith. As to Flint and Carnor Jax, yes, they were apprentices, but so were Maul, Dooku, Vader, etc. Lumiya's order appears to be maintaining Darth Bane's ruling that both Master and apprentice are Dark Lords of the Sith. Jon Hart 19:26, 23 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, he hasn't formally pledged himself, no. But c'mon, it strains credulity to think that after murdering a fellow Jedi, tempering with Ben's brain, believing Lumiya, and drawing on the Dark side that he isn't on her side now. Luke never officially became Palpatine's apprentice either, as I recall. --maru (talk) contribs 01:30, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect[edit]

This is entirely in-universe plot summary, with not citations to third-party sources to establish notability. I am redirecting this to List of Star Wars characters. --EEMIV (talk) 14:27, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
