Prima ballerina

[edit]

@Cielquiparle: To answer your question in the edit history, "principal dancer" is Serrano's formal title at ABT. The term "prima ballerina" basically means a woman who has reached the rank of principal dancer. Corachow (talk) 22:24, 20 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • ALT4a: ... that in 1960, Chilean-born ballerina Lupe Serrano (pictured) was said to have "captured Moscow"?

Created 19 January; nom 25 Jan - new enough; 9804 char - long enough; neutral; cited; no apparent copyvios. Fabulous photo! Licensing appears to confirm no copyright marks on images. As an extra precaution, checking copyright volumes for Artwork volume 1 and 2 shows no listing for photographer Maurice Seymour, or American Ballet Theatre or Ballet Theatre Foundation. QPQ done. Each proposed hook is under the maximum. All are stated in the article and cited in-line immediately following the claim. Source links in the article were verified and confirm the statements. IMO, the most interesting hooks are 0 and 1. Confirmed ITN was not a feature here. GTG SusunW (talk) 16:19, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
