It seems utterly ridiculous that a famous --- in Germany apparently at least --- fictional advertising comic character has not even one image here to give the rest of us knowledge of what he looks like. Compare to the redoubtable Rupert Bear, etc..


It may be replied there are two external links... The fansite is an Internet Wayback Machine with lost illustrations --- Ah, Geocities...

The second is the company site resolving to a 404. So much for that.


And...


As an instance of the New Puritanism, this is hilarious --- was the firm subject to an American takeover ?


In 2000, all protagonists of the series underwent a major "brushup" at the request of the company's management. Most remarkably, they became fully clothed, whereas in their classic form they had been mostly nude except for some accessories, Claverhouse (talk) 20:48, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
