Requested move

The result of the proposal was move all. JPG-GR (talk) 05:15, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I propose to move the following articles:

The reason is that the transliterations from Armenian to Latin alphabet do not currently follow the naming convention WP:ARMEN. The main issues here are the Armenian letters "ռ" and "ղ", for which the preferred transliterations are "r" and "gh" (see the column "simplified transcription" in the table), instead of "rr" and "kh" used here. No objections from my part. - Fedayee (talk) 20:54, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merger Proposal

[edit]

I propose merging Shikhlar into Lusarat. They refer to the same settlement, OpenStreetMap and Google Maps label it as "Lusarat", its Armenian modern name, whilst MapCarta (cannot external link it as it is blacklisted by WP) labels it with its previous Azerbaijani name. Therefore, having two separate articles to refer to the same settlement is not useful to the reader and only serves to confuse. – Olympian loquere 01:10, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Why is it relevant how a foreign minority living in the area called the village? 85.87.85.18 (talk) 01:41, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
