I would like to upload a photo of Lyle E Schaller to this page. The person who took the photo said, "I am fine with a license for non-commercial use, with attribution." I am finding the rules of copyright to be confusing. Am I allowed to upload this photo under the stated condition? RebeccaAgnes (talk) 01:46, 17 March 2016 (UTC) RebeccaAgnes[reply]

I have been trying and trying to add citation to a quote I'd like to add to this article. If anyone can help me do so, I'd certainly appreciate it. It is the following paragraph in General Accomplishments. The citation is already listed in the footnotes.

At the time of his death, Leith Anderson wrote that Schaller averaged "about 150 on-site church consultations per year. I don’t know if the Guinness Book of World Records includes an award for the most parishes consulted, but Lyle Schaller would no doubt hold the record with thousands and thousands of visits to local congregations. At these churches, he took a repeated approach of gathering statistics and interviewing church leaders, youth, ministers’ spouses, non-leader congregants, and pastors from nearby churches. At the end of each consultation, he reported his 360-degree view, analysis and list of practical suggestions for congregational health and growth." Anderson, Leith (March 18, 2015). "Lyle Schaller, Preeminent Church Consultant, Dies at 91". Christianity Today. Retrieved March 19, 2015

I have several questions as I try to write this page.

1. Why does this draft get listed when I did a search on Google for Lyle E. Schaller? It is on the first page. I thought it wasn't supposed to be online for everyone to see yet? — Preceding unsigned comment added by RebeccaAgnes (talkcontribs) 03:22, 20 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it does - it may be your Google personalization settings. -Karlstutzman (talk) 09:08, 20 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

2. In the box on the right hand side, why is the word "Limeridge" spelled with red. RebeccaAgnes (talk) 03:29, 20 December 2013 (UTC)RebeccaAgnes[reply]

This is because the page does not exist. Try removing the double brackets around Limeridge, WI. -Karlstutzman (talk) 09:11, 20 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

3. On Alan's page, this reference ^ Jump up to: a b c d http://www.ambs.edu/_application/media/faculty/AlanKreider-CV.pdf is only listed one time at the bottom of the page even though there are about four references to it. On my LES page, multiple references are listed multiple times at the bottom. What makes the difference? RebeccaAgnes (talk) 03:40, 20 December 2013 (UTC)RebeccaAgnes[reply]

I think the difference may be in using named footnotes. There's a ton of information here about styling your footnotes effectively. -Karlstutzman (talk) 09:19, 20 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
