infobox type[edit]

Looking for opinions on changing the infobox type from Template:Infobox_NRHP to Template:Infobox_school. This is an active high school and readers may benefit more from data within the school infobox such as principal, mascot, rival, etc. Charger2 (talk) 21:26, 17 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I embedded the NRHP infobox into the school one. I keep the info as-is, since the article is about the overall history of the school, while the NRHP listing is of only one of its former locations. Hope that works! :) --Ebyabe talk - Opposites Attract ‖ 23:32, 17 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Looking for citation of petition regarding "allegations of questionable conduct"[edit]

Hi @Lynnhistory: Thanks for adding the new principal updates!

Could you please also add a citation for the petition regarding "allegations of questionable conduct"? Added in this edit: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Lynn_English_High_School&oldid=964273727

I've read the Lynn Item newspaper article several times and it only mentions "recent social media posts from community members" and "criticism of staff members". I'm not seeing any mention of "questionable conduct" in that newspaper article.

There's also no reference to a petition, just "district administration opted to solicit input from current and former students about their experiences in the Lynn Public Schools through a specific email address".

Thanks!

Hi @Stefan01902:

I tried to link to the petition as a source but it's getting flagged as a website on Wikipedia's blacklist... you can find it at change dot org /p/city-of-lynn-speak-up

I've also seen plenty of posts on social media about the petition and the behavior referenced, but guessing that's also not an allowable source so what would be? I can do some research to see if this has been covered more specifically in any articles or addressed explicitly with reference to the petition from Tutwiler in any of his videos but let me know if you have any recommendations on what an allowable source for this would be.

Thanks @Lynnhistory: that sounds like you're on top of it so I don't want to interfere with your flow! The "too many cooks" principle. I will keep an eye out for references / citations that might work, but I'll defer to you unless you come up empty.

I suppose my primary driver for asking for a petition & conduct citation is a fear that without one it might appear defamatory / inflammatory.

Thanks for all your work!
