Loan not loans[edit]

There was only one supposed loan, but the authors differ in calling it the Maori loan affair (Lange, Palmer/Richards, Pope p153) or Maori loans affair (Hensley, Deane/Bassett (scam), Bassett (scam) ) Hugo999 (talk) 22:53, 19 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing introduction[edit]

I am confused by the sentences: "Peters was reluctant to share all his information with Roderick Deane or his National Party leader Jim Bolger, and Bolger then downplayed the affair. Peters was getting information from an informant in Wetere’s office". Who is Roderick Deane, and who is Wetere? Of course I know who they are, but the article should state who they are.Royalcourtier (talk) 07:48, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
