Golden where is the source for the "forcing the Azerbaijani population to flee" part from here? I don't want to open separate discussion for each case, but you've added it in a number of villages without a source [1], [2], [3]. Does every one of these villages follow the same scenario and how can you be sure of it without adding a source? There have been quite a few peaceful population exchanges during the First War, unless you have sources for your added claims, you should self-revert those parts. Do we really need a discussion about whether Azerbaijanis fled or not after their villages were occupied? Peaceful village exchanges took place between Armenians of Azerbaijan proper and the Azerbaijanis of Armenia, not in Karabakh. But, since you asked, here's a quote from the 2002 US Department of State report:[4]

In the areas of the country controlled by Armenian forces, the Armenians forced approximately 600,000 ethnic Azerbaijanis to flee their homes.

Did they leave far ahead of time as a precaution? Were they given free passage after the capture? Were they literally running for their lives as the fighting got closer? We can’t just assume the circumstances without any source.
And a source for the entire conflict is too vague for individual villages. ZaniGiovanni (talk) 10:40, 21 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Where did I specify the circumstances? It's vague on purpose. You're not going to find a separate source for every single village that has been occupied; it's common sense. It would be the equivalent of me requesting a separate source proving Artsakh's control of each village for each year in each village article. I believe you would benefit from reading WP:BLUE. — Golden call me maybe? 09:45, 25 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Your example doesn't make sense because villages controlled by Artsakh are confirmed by official maps. We shouldn't be assuming Azeris must’ve fled from the village without a source. I believe you would benefit from reading WP:OR, and waiting for this discussion to be over before doing similar edits [5], the Armenian army forcing to flee part at least.
