GA Review

This was a well-written and interesting article. It flows nicely, and I enjoyed reading it. I did a little bit of copyediting while I reviewed it, and three things came up:

  1. The lead section should be expanded. Can you added two or three more sentences to help it summarize the main points of the entire article?
  2. "M-38 swings to the north of town after intersecting Plank Road" - I found this a little confusing. It seems to continue to the east, so I'm not sure what it meant by the north of town. "swings" also sounds unencyclopedic.
  3. "The first version of M-38 was designated in 1919 in the Lower Peninsula on the road from M-10 (later US 10/US 23 southeast of Bridgeport and Frankenmuth to M-19 in the Peck area in 1919." - I find this sentence confusing, but it might just be the unclosed parentheses.

I will place the nomination on hold to allow for these concerns to be address and/or discussed. Any comments and/or questions can be left here, as I have placed this page on my watchlist. Best wishes, GaryColemanFan (talk) 15:15, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Expanded the lead, reworked that one sentence and copy edited the subsection of the history. Any followup feedback is appreciated. Imzadi1979 (talk) 17:40, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like eveything has been addressed and all of the GA criteria have been met. I'm promoting the article. Great job! GaryColemanFan (talk) 21:02, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
