a 310 pic[edit]

the description of the image file says it was taken at Tegel, which is also consistent with the vegetation in the background. More consistent than Genghis Khan International would be, anyway. Yaan (talk) 11:23, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Antonov planes[edit]

The information about discarding antonov's planes is wrong. One can see dozens of them in Buyant Ukha airport with MIAT colors. How do you think passengers are moved inside country? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thebiggestmac (talkcontribs) 07:52, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

With other airlines like Eznis and sometimes AeroMongolia. Or overland. There are a lot of old planes in Buyant-Ukhaa, even AN-2s. But that does not mean they are in service. Yaan (talk) 12:18, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. But they really did still operate one AN-26 one and a half years ago. No idea if it went out of service since then. Yaan (talk) 12:21, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ulaanbaatar[edit]

Somebody is showing by his reverts that he does not understand how the Mongolians spell the name of their capital (Улаанбаатар) and how that is transliterated into English (Ulaanbaatar). Vidor (talk) 00:18, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

International flights[edit]

The article currently shows the following text: "In 1987, MIAT began international flights.[3]" Doesn't this contradict the previous sentences which state that MIAT's operations had actually begun with international flights? I had thought that MIAT ran flights to the USSR, East Germany and other destinations throughout its existence.
