Powerplant[edit]
This article notes steam turbines as the powerplant for this ship. As far as I remember it used diesels. According to the Swedish article:
2 x Götaverken V6-9V dieslar 18536 kW
This seems correct from what I remember about the ship. Unless someone actually changed the diesels for steam turbines after the Svenska Amerikalinjen era there is a problem with this article.
Unfortunately I do not have the time to research this properly right now, but I thought I should make a note here.
