Originally SS?

[edit]

I have a coaster of this ship I got because I dig the blue and white Dutch tiles. It lists the time frame for the original ship (1902-1928) But it's listed as the SS Noordam I. I was wondering if anyone could confirm this as I see MS listed. I'm not sure if this is an error or not.

The current Noordam (and the one before it) are motor ships (i.e. carry an MS prefix). The 1902 and 1938 Noordams were steamships (and therefore carried an SS prefix). Since this article is theoretically at least about the current Noordam, it's titeled MS Noordam. In fact, to conform with WikiProject Ships guidelines, this article should be split into four articles, one for each incarnation of the ship (SS Noordam (1902), SS Noordam (1938), and MS Noordam (1984)). — Kjet (talk · contribs) 09:44, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Itineraries

[edit]

I did a quick check of the itineraries posted to the Holland America Line website to get the months she sails to Alaska and the months she sails to destinations in Australia and New Zealand. I then updated this section to reflect the posted itineraries. Fortunately, Holland America Line publishes itineraries up to two years in advance, so the itinerary information is accurate for a couple of years. However, this section needs to be regularly evergreened to reflect future itineraries when needed.162.157.30.43 (talk) 16:11, 9 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
