Gallery[edit]

I removed the gallery that was added, per WP:NOT#REPOSITORY). My understanding is that images that illustrate specific points in the article are appropriate; but that Wikipedia should not be used as a photo gallery. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 18:24, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

pronunciation[edit]

What language is the pronunciation supposed to be in? It's not English or Dutch. kwami (talk) 09:30, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I did some searching in the history of the article ... when the current pronunciation was added (used appears to have originally been in english), the change referenced the use of International Phonetic Alphabet. I'm trying to read up on IPA now. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 16:11, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
meh - I give up. Too much effort to learn IPA, I have bigger priorities in life. I guess I just continue to make up my own pronunciation until someone corrects me in the real world. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 17:42, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I'm reverting it. The old description was bad, but at least it didn't appear to be authoritative, the way that pseudo IPA did. kwami (talk) 20:47, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
