LS326 Relevance
[edit]Hello, I am curious about the relevance of Swordfish LS326 in this article; since the article is about the ship itself and not its aircraft. I wonder if this information should be deleted or moved to the article for the Fairey Swordfish.

Scrapping Location
[edit]The final scrapping location of the ship seems to be disputed between sources.
- Warships of World War II puts the scrapping location in Osaka, which seems corroborated by this website (an archive of Dutch shipping).
- Hobbs' book British Aircraft Carriers and the Fleet Air Arm Archive place it in Hong Kong instead.
I lean more towards Hong Kong, since Hobbs is already a respected source, and Warships of World War II mention the fate in an infobox (which also seems to contain other errors).
Any external input is appreciated, as I am currently working on trying to improve the article to a higher standard.

- This document from the Lloyd's Register Foundation says the ship was scrapped in Osaka, and it is filed as such in the Total Loss report. As such, I have changed the scrapping location back to Osaka. SpanCan (talk) 01:16, 8 February 2024 (UTC)
