More general information needed

[edit]

While this article provides a detailed insight into the oil spill, more general information about the ship as such is required. E.g. technical details like length, beam, draft, builder etc. And what about the crew – were there any losses in the incident?

Alternatively we should move the article to a more specific name like Sinking of MV Treasure. De728631 (talk) 11:08, 21 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have now moved the page to "MV Treasure oil spill" so the page name fits the article content. If more information about the vessel can be found, we can turn the redirect into a full article. De728631 (talk) 11:22, 21 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox

[edit]

I'm working on an infobox here, but I'm missing some important info. Mainly, 1. what was the area affected by the oil spill? and 2. what was the length of coastline affected? The infobox may warrant a more succinct cause section. And were all 1300 tons of fuel oil released, or was it just 400? Paris1127 (talk) 04:57, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
