Expanding lede[edit]

I've been doing a lot of research on the show to expand the article. To follow WP:MOSTV#Lead paragraphs, I added a sentence summarizing the show and identifying the main actresses, and summarized the interesting production shifts in the next paragraph. I'd like to keep at least the basic production information in the lede (that it originated as a 2011 pilot for the Campions, that it was originally filmed in Italian and then dubbed) in 2-3 sentences. I saved a longer version of that last week, so I'm thinking of a shorter version. I'm also looking for reception information, but I can't find much aside from ratings. If I find anything substantial, it might be appropriate for the lede too. TheFallenPower (talk) 16:20, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

My $0.02: The whole saga of the "originally an American TV pilot" origins very likely doesn't need to be in the lede. (It's certainly correct to cover in the 'Production' section, though!) At best, that merits a sentence in lede, not a couple of paragraphs... --IJBall (contribs • talk) 16:43, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I saved a shorter paragraph that cut out the pilot tagline and the Campions returning to the show, which I agree, are unnecessary for the lede. I think what's there now is important though, since it briefly covers in four lines: the pilot origin, the companies that developed the concept, the actresses, the original language, and the filming location/studio.
