Merger proposal

[edit]

I propose merging Magic Mouse 2 into Magic Mouse. The Magic Mouse 2 is effectively the same product as the first generation, the only difference being a switch to a built-in battery. We have a fairly strong precedent of grouping identical products with the same functionality with the only name change being a '2' or '2nd generation' being tacked on, e.g. AirPods and Apple TV. -Shivertimbers433 (talk) 22:09, 1 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This has a separate page while Apple Watch doesn't have individual pages for the different versions Macpro8921 (talk) 07:44, 2 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. Can you please proceed with the merger? Apple also dropped the "2" from the name with the release of the new iMac in August 2021, so it would make more sense to be under the "Magic Mouse" title again. Evan Bovie (talk) 07:23, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Magic Mouse 3?

[edit]

Does the new Magic Mouse with the USB-C cable and the new colors count as a third generation? I've seen it referred to as "Magic Mouse 3" on YouTube. Is this true? 49.144.194.137 (talk) 13:53, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
