Blatant advertising

[edit]

Hardly any of the article is about MailChimp. Most of it is advertising other services and listing high profile customers.

Wikipedia as a free advertising provider strikes again. If only it were as effective as an encyclopaedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.38.159.202 (talk) 17:58, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Removed a silly edition

[edit]

Removed "(otherwise known as spammer for sending unsolicited and unwanted bulk email)" as this looks to be an addition made by somebody scornful towards the subject matter rather a legitimate edit intended to inform. To expand upon my edit comment, might I suggest cited information regarding this reception in a "Reception" section towards the end of the article?

Yeah, but what do they DO?

[edit]

Yeah, but what do they DO? They must do something other than email emails; who composes the emails? Who decides where they go? What is the secret sauce?? 12.33.223.211 (talk) 22:19, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

And why does the "unsubscribe" button they add to email footers go to a URL with Facebook in it? https://facebook.us17.list-manage.com Jimbo (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 14:10, 20 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

My guess is that the first part of the URL is the list name that the sender gave the receiver list. So if the sender called the list you are in "facebook" the link starts with that name. Its only a guess though. 87.130.50.42 (talk) 12:40, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The info here is posted like an advertisement Uddhav9 (talk) 10:24, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I've tried rewording and brought in some new quotes from sources to try and rectify this. Please let me know your thoughts, this is my first major edit on the site, if you can call it that. Matt.syl (talk) 07:25, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Anti-Union Stance

[edit]

I don't have the time nor talent to craft a new section about this, but it feels like their latest action to fight organized labor is a worthy addition to this article.[1] Dan (talk) 16:06, 18 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
