Merger of 2 articles, Félix & Lydie[edit]

I'm aware that some loose ends remain, but there was no way these 2 articles could remain separate. Other than for feminist extremists, the only reasonable way of dealing with the Bonfils family is: together. Their work cannot be separated by anyone, as it's not signed, Lydia and Adrien learned from Félix, and the collection was always commercialised and finally sold as one.

I've done some of the merging work, but I know there's more to be done, mainly technical bits, for which I won't, most cowardly, take responsability for the time being :)

  • Repetitions: not all have been removed. The 3 parts can be better condensed (Maison, Félix, Lydie).
  • Refs for 1st part: The 1st of the 3 parts consists 100% of material picked up from the other 2. If seen as a lead, it doesn't need refs. Maybe the fact that it has a subset, "History", changes that? Would mean quite some boring search-copy-paste work with refs. Can't do that on my cellphone.
  • Talk pages: mainly the Lydia art. (now a redirect), the merged one possibly too: adapt more/remove what's there, which is: ONLY technical tags, no actual discussions.
  • Categories, other bottom tags: I've set under the Félix section those regarding him, and under the Lydia section those regarding her. The tags & cats concerning both, I have added below the merged article. Don't know if this is OK. Pls mind: I dit edit each, added what was missing, set them in the same logical sequence, so pls don't just revert or copy-paste from initial 2 articles.

The user is already better served & informed by the merged article, which makes me feel rather remorse-free about these aspects :) Cheers, Arminden (talk) 17:40, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
