About AfD[edit]

Hi Papaursa, would you please specify the reasons for why the article meets the criteria for AfD? In which sense it does not meet notability? I have put the information as per information gathered from a number of references and sources. It would be helpful to know the reasons for AfD, so that I can amend the article to meet notability. I didn't say it met the criteria for AfD. This subject was deleted at an earlier AfD discussion, which is why I labeled it as a possible speedy deletion candidate. I don't have access to the previous version to know how different they may be. If it's significantly different, then it can be looked at as a possible AfD candidate--but CSD and AFD are different. Thanks for your clarification. I noticed while creating the article that the it was previously deleted twice, and I didn't make any edit or contribution to those versions. I just started this article to write a biography of living person as per NP:Notability criteria. If you notice any statements that sound overestimation, please let me know. Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because: I was aware that, previously this article had been deleted twice, during my creation of the article this time (I didn't even any idea how those two versions looked like). And I didn't make any edit/contribution to those versions of the article. I started creating it recently, with an effort to making a biography of a living person as per WP:BLP criteria. I have started this one from the scratch and haven't yet finished putting all the possible contents. Before creating the article, earlier I gathered reliable references and sources. And I have used those references here. I did not put something that might sound overestimation or underestimation. Please note that I am not an expert/connoisseur of martial arts and for that I might mess up some stuffs. I would surely amend the article if something wrong is identified by any martial arts connoisseur. --Tanweer^talk 20:33, 8 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If memory serves this version relies far less heavily on the self congratulatory super-soke websites than the previous one. There are some reasonable references to add weight to the Discovery Channel coverage. I think this article is different enough from the version form three years ago and makes enough of a claim to notability to avoid an outright speedy delete.
