Risqué Trivia

[edit]

The horse's name is a rather dirty joke. Look at his name, and those of his parents, and remember that "willy" is BrEnglish slang for "penis". This was pefectly well appreciated at the time, but unfortunately I can't find a source.Tigerboy1966 (talk) 19:38, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Upgrade

[edit]

Overhauled article. More precise refs. More details, quotations, citations, pedigree table, improved tone. C class, I think. Unfortunately, the early stages of this horse's career were pretty obscure, and there isn't much contemporary coverage apart from the bare RP results before January '97- and of course, nothing much after March '97. It was a "meteoric" career, although I avoided using that word in the article! I thought I might be able to get a non-copyright image from his parade at Cheltenham in 2010- there are some on flickr but none available for use here.Tigerboy1966 (talk) 21:44, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
