@ Furicorn: The article is about a U.S. federal statute, so of course it only covers a U.S. perspective. It is not intended to cover other jurisdictions. (@ Specfico: This article IS specific to the cited statute.)
Perhaps there is some confusion about what "False Statements" means. It's not a general, generic term -- it's a term of art that refers specifically to the U.S. statute in question. (Section 1001 of Title 18, United States Code.) Captain Quirk (talk) 14:46, 13 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Then the article title needs to be refined further. At present the article uses a common language approach and so the article too must be globalized.
If we keep it restricted, retitle as "Making false statements (US Code)" so the "Making false statements" article can be used for a global context. MJHTrailsolid (talk) 03:52, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
