Makola Market[edit]

I decided to edit the Makola Market article on Wikipedia because it lacks several important pieces of information. Indeed, after being edited, this article will include the date of creation of Makola Market, the number 1 market in Accra, Ghana. Later on, this same market was destroyed "to improve the economy" and re-created a few years later. This piece of information is not cited in the article and I will develop a section about the historical background of this market.

Also in this article will be included a photo of the market itself.

Moreover, a few recommendations on what to avoid and the 'things to do' in this touristic site will appear in the modifications done in the Makola Market article.

The article will thus be divided into two distinct parts: the historical background (including the "death" or destruction of the market and its re-creation) and the recommendations on what to do and what to avoid in such a place.

On top of that, I will include 5 sources, including two scholarly ones, and a photo of the Makola Market. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dfa09 (talkcontribs) 06:18, 12 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Recommendations[edit]

I think the "Recommendations" section should be deleted because of WP:NOTTRAVEL. The section seems too much like a travel guide. I suggest that the information in the section be moved to the WikiVoyage article for Accra.
