Non denominational?[edit]

The Peterborough Diocesan Board of Education's website suggests otherwise. 195.171.25.206 (talk) 21:18, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've spoken to Dr Stephen Partridge, the Diocesan Director of Education for Peterborough Diocese, and he confirmed to me that Malcolm Arnold Academy is a Church of England school and is being marketed as such: the Bishop of Peterborough himself sits on the Governing Body. == Failing School==

As a parent during the debacle caused by the political interference during the 2008/2009 Unity College had been taken out of special measures by OFSTED, the main problem the school had in 2008 was the attempt by the Council to force an ill thought out plan to turn the school into an Academy - despite the opposition of a large proportion of the parents and staff. When forced to listen to the oposition to their plans the council actually did a proper job; however the political and cynical nature of the first attempt to move to academy status blighted many children's GCSE results. OFSTED laid much of the blame on the status of a failing school on both the Council and the CofE —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.5.28.112 (talk) 17:58, 24 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
