Earwig says good to go. No concerns from me either.

All images are relevant, high quality and copyright-free:

  • File:Flag of Maldives.svg: valid public domain rationale (I mean, it 'tiss a national flag);

Prose

[edit]
  • The website in the infobox appears to be a dead link. Relatedly:
  • Is "(in English)" necessary?
    Removed.
  • "Maldives" is used twice (the lead and the first sentence in Swimming) whilst "The Maldives" is used all the other times. I would recommend standardising these.
    Standardised to "The Maldives"
  • This is not required but may I recommend combining the first and second sentences in the lead to say "The nation's seventh consecutive appearance at the Olympics, the delegation consisted of two athletes each in track and field (Azneem Ahmed and Afa Ismail) and swimming (Ahmed Husam and Aminath Shajan)."? IMO this flows much better. Also:
    Done
  • The athletes' names should be wikilinked here.
    Done
  • Wikilink Summer Olympics in "their debut at the Summer Olympics," and "The Maldives have participated in every Summer Olympics since" as its first mention in the lead and body respectively.
    Done.
  • "Mohamed Ajfan Rasheed was notable for carrying the Maldivian flag at the opening ceremony" – recommend "Mohamed Ajfan Rasheed carried the Maldivian flag at the opening ceremony"
    Done
  • "Maldivian swimmer Aminath Shajan made her Olympic debut" – Shajan is already wikilinked in Background.
    Done
  • Efn notes b and c need citations.
    Done

Refs

[edit]

All sources are RS. Passes spotcheck—no concerns with refs 1, 4, 9, 14, 17 or 24.

  • Is there a better publication name available for ref 3?
    Done
  • Refs 5 and 20 are the same URL.
    Done
