Removed paragraph
I removed this charming paragraph from the page (for multiple reasons) but didn't want to lose it:
It is a place were different people with talents go to have some fun or learn about the cove. People like rock-climbers or absailers go to do the dimoutn from the top or the climb up from the bottom, other people just go for a nice walk and a picnic. we call Malham Cove a AOONB (area of outstanding national beauty) becausde it is a place pretected by the National Park yorkshire dales, which its beauty is preserved by the national park system to keep it for however long it lasts, without people having the right to knock it down or build a skyscraper in a little town or village protected by the national park protecters. (THIS PEICE WAS WRITTEN BY GEORGINA RICHARDSON IN THE EIDT PLACE FROM THIS ENCYLOPEIDA I HOPE YOU LIKE IT)

Quote from Thomas West
The quote in the History section is from a book by Thomas West. But the quote itself is from a letter by Adam Walker, which you can read in West's book. So really the text should read "The popular science lecturer Adam Walker described the cove in 1779:..." If you visit Malham Cove, you will see information signs from the National Park Authority that use this quote. They likewise attribute it to Adam Walker. Piano beat (talk) 15:27, 7 October 2020 (UTC)
