Removed the following text from the page due to notability concerns:
Worcester Road hosts Malvern Link's primary shopping area with many shops including a grocery store called "Peas and Cues", a Co-op supermarket, a Domino's Pizza and several takeaway restaurants including Indian, Chinese, and traditional English fish and chip shops.
[...]
In particular, students participating in the Year in Industry scheme who have been placed at QinetiQ have been known to rent out flats above the storefront on Worcester Road due to the convenient location.[citation needed]
Malvern Link has a GP's surgery and is served by Malvern Hills District Council. It is also the location for the Malvern Linux Users Group. This meets regularly and has headquarters in the office of a local web-design company.[1])
There is a bright mural at the crossroads in Malvern Link, depicting, amongst other things, the Hills, Edward Elgar and The Link Stone, which stands outside St Matthias Church.

- I grew up in the area (Church Road). I agree with the removal of the first paragraph of this text.Kudpung (talk) 10:22, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
"citation needed"
[edit]Malvern Link is home to many employees of nearby defence company, QinetiQ, the Malvern site being a brisk 45-minute walk away.
Living in the area I can confirm this. However, there are not as many people as there used to be since "North Site" closed down (as opposed to "South Site", the place this article refers to) --90.240.17.161 (talk) 12:37, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- Whilst this may be true (my father was one of the scientists at 'South Site'and we lived in the Link), as it is not substantiated with referenced facts and figures, under Wiki rules it stands as POV or as a conclusion.Kudpung (talk) 10:25, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
On further reflection, the entire Malvern area is inhabited by the former and present employees, and probably not many walk for nearly an hour to work these days.The entry was removed by Setwischi in october 2008.Kudpung (talk) 10:49, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
Merging
[edit]Malvern, Great Malvern, the Malvern district, the Hills, and all the other Malverns, now make a rather complex collection of articles. I'm suggesting looking at merging some of this is some way or another. Best to reply on my talk page. Kudpung (talk) 10:13, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
- In the light of discovery of (relatively hard-to-find) Wikipedia policy, such a merge may no longer be necessary for communities that have large articles about them.--Kudpung (talk) 06:15, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Cleaning up
[edit]The Malvern Link article now has an important size for a small place, but all the content seems to be relevant. It's scope has almost reached its limit, and most of what can be said is included. However, as it is a rapidly developing area, some regular updating will be needed. One or to tweaks are still needed, and maybe a couple of maps and photos. . I've considerably enhanced the article but it still needs some references for items added by other editors. It's hardly a start class now, and should probably be rated C, but Tte size of Malvern Link as a community does not justify an importance rating greater than Low/Mid on a county scale--Kudpung (talk) 06:15, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
The article Malvern Link railway station has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- A search for references found two published (gBook) minor mentions of the station, fails WP:N and WP:STATION
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jeepday (talk) 11:51, 24 December 2010 (UTC)
