This is wrong, isn't it?

I'm not an expert on the subject, but the iconic Man of Sorrows depicts Christ after the crucifixion and his removal from the cross, and ecce homo depicts him before, right? Right now it says both depict him immediately before the crucifixion. NTK (talk) 08:08, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Altered Man of Sorrows

At least one version of this painting has been altered, according to Thomas Hoving in his book FAKES. The entire background has been removed and a new background added with the figures of Christ and the angels remaining intect.70.51.205.133 (talk) 14:42, 14 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
