the word mangan or the name Mangan

[edit]

this name "Mangan" can not be subjected to the town in India with out a lead out as "Mangan, India" otherwise it will be confused with many other towns named Mangan. Mangan would be a jumping off place to reference the town of India as it is being used to reference the town of Mangan Afghanistan. there are many other places of reference for the name Mangan. Mangan Palace in Constantinople, Mangan Acadamy in Constantinople during my new research of the Mangan name it has been brought to my attention. I have a lot more study to do on this subject. but from what I see these Mangan towns may all be connected to the silk road as they are along a corridor to Tibet. I did find one other town along the same corridor that is in Pakistan how ever a slight misspelling of Maigan and that is not a uncommon thing to happen. the name Mangan I once read in a name dictionary was of German origination: similar to a Webster's dictionary it was described as several meanings.

  • word : hairy, horse mane, horse maine, or the
  • name : horse groomer, horse trainer, etc

this I discovered at a church of latter day saints library. last time I went there the books were all removed and computers were installed for access to their studies.

Horses were a big thing in Constantinople at the hippodrome and useage along the earliest of the silk road. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eaamon (talkcontribs) 16:48, 12 July 2011 (UTC) Eaamon (talk) 17:54, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
