Italicized and Non-Italicized Names[edit]

Some names are italicized, others not. Does this have some significance? Hi There (talk) 15:49, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The italicized names correspond to famous people who have a biography on an other wikipedia (German mainly) but whose biographies don't exist yet on the English wikipedia. Sincerily. Paris75000 (talk) 18:53, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The text is incomplete. In some places it seems purposefully so against NPOV. עדירל (talk) 13:44, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV or historical accuracy, the text should be complete, and has now been completed from ref. 2 in the wiki. Bpw (talk) 18:29, 12 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Some names in bold. Why?[edit]

Some of the names are in bold type, such as those of Paul Ehrlich, Engelbert Humperdinck, Felix Klein. What is the reason for this? Are they considered more important than other signatories and/or are their signatures considered particularly shocking (and, if so, by whom and why)? In short, it rather looks as if someone is playing games with the list or has compiled it extremely carelessly. What on earth is going on? And, please don't say that the names in bold do or don't have articles on them in the English Wikipedia because there is no such pattern. Norvo (talk) 03:12, 10 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, the bolding seems random and is confusing. The bolding seems to have been added by a bot in February 2013. I think it should be removed. Blart versenwald (talk) 20:13, 18 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
