"Conservative" terminology[edit]

User 5.133.46.1 recently edited the page to remove the term "ultraconservative" from the description of the group. The user's comments also suggest a misunderstanding of what "conservative" means in the context. It is not "conservative" in any political sense, but is an accurate term referring to the colony's conservative Mennonite traditions. It is also the term used in many sources including Vice, Business Insider, The Guardian, and so on. To assert that colony is "socialist" also suggests either an ideologically-motivated edit, or a misunderstanding of Mennonite theology altogether. That term is not used in any source to refer to this group. Mennowiki (talk)
