Hey this band has a whole chapter in a Sober Living for the Revolution: Hardcore Punk, Straight Edge, and Radical Politics devoted to them. In addition several and I am searching though my books for other mentions. In addition most of the members of Manliftingbanner were members of the influential band Larm cheers --Guerillero | My Talk 02:51, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you can find "multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable and are independent from the musician or ensemble itself" that discuss this band or if the band ever had one of their song in the charts I have no problem with the page. However they really should have had at least some success and not just be mentioned because members of the band later or earlier were part of more successful ventures. In that case the info should be moved to the article of those people. Travelbird (talk) 02:54, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
They released three records on a major dutch indie label. labels band list There is more to WP:BAND then criteria 1--Guerillero | My Talk 02:55, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
They got a mention in Maximum rocknroll in 1994.--Guerillero | My Talk 03:12, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
A one-sentence brief mention isn't really enough. They really should be the subject of the article. Did they ever have a song in any chart ? Travelbird (talk) 03:20, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
When was the last time a communist-straight edge-punk band charted? I would contest that they meet criteria 5. Their label has been putting out records since 1989. They were included in a book called The Past The Present 1982-2007: A History Of 25 Years Of Eurpean Straight Edge by Marc Hanou, Jean-Paul Frijns but that seems to be very out of print--Guerillero | My Talk 03:43, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
english interview in a german zine --Guerillero | My Talk 04:00, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm. I'm not sure that the website of a now defunct radical marxist political group is the most reliable source on music. Travelbird (talk) 04:15, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
But the band is a communist punk band. Wouldn't it make sense their interviews were published in a communist zine. --Guerillero | My Talk 04:46, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
