Mano Solo

[edit]

Je ne supportais pas l'idée qu'il ne figure pas là, même en si peu de mots.

I couldn't stand the idea of him not being here, even with so few words.

This is starting to be an article. I'm rating it "start", until I finish to translate the french wiki. From then, with a few refs and maybe an image or two, it should be a pretty B.
Damn I hate stubs. We should merge them all, if someone could order the resulting mess.--SidiLemine 11:08, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there. I been adding a category and correcting some little typos only for now on this page. You're doing a great work User:$yD!! I was beginning to work on the Miossec page... Check its history : not twelve minutes after i had created it, it had been awarded a Notability warning... I'm amazed to discover Wikipedia ;) arikel 21:19, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I translated what was left to, but i'm not really happy about some of the choices i made... If anyone can make a comparison (the original material comes from the same page in the french Wikipedia)... I've been looking for serious references for some time now, and it seems it's gonna take some work! (i go back to it right now) arikel 19:16, 8 February 2007 (UTC) (logged out i was on the first try)[reply]

Date of birth

[edit]

I have seen the biography i pointed to states he was born on the 27, and not on the 24. That issue has already been discussed on the wikipedia in french, and it really seems it's the 24. arikel 19:22, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Erroneous translation

[edit]

I don't have any better option to propose, but I find that the translation of La Marmaille Nue by The Naked Children is somewhat misleading. (especially because marmaille is singular, and means "a gang of kids", and the adjective nue does not qualify the kids themselves) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.53.185.3 (talk) 12:05, 10 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

In fact, it refers to this poem by Blaise Cendrars : http://www.poemes.co/entrepont.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.53.185.3 (talk) 12:17, 10 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
