Assessment and DYK

[edit]

I think this is B-Class material but i'm not sure. I tagged this so someone from the project should come by as check my rating.

Also I think this is long enough, sourced and new it sounds like it would be a good DYK --Guerillero | My Talk 04:29, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the feedback. I am new to Wikipedia so I am not sure if anyone from the project came to check my work. KristinaRyanCU (talk) 22:15, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Did you Know ... that the Professional Association of Diving Instructors lists the manta ray night dive as one of the 100 things to do before you die?

a hook idea--Guerillero | My Talk 05:52, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It is written like advertising, sourced to biased sources, so I down-graded assessment. Will do one quick pass to be more neutral. W Nowicki (talk) 01:31, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Before you die"

[edit]

I found this an amusing distinction. Generally most things people do are done before they die. :-) Now if you did things after you were dead, that would be notable. W Nowicki (talk) 03:23, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Snorkeling

[edit]

Night snorkeling should be added to this article. More people do manta ray night snorkeling than diving. Then presumably the article needs to be renamed to something like Manta ray night tourism. Jaredroach (talk) 19:25, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I support the idea of expanding the scope of the article, as it currently seems too narrow, or merging it into an article with broader scope, perhaps about manta conservation, or diving tourism in Hawaii. · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 05:31, 3 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
