@Fire-and-Ice: How is the Communist Party of India (Maoist) not Maoist when the first sentence of that article says, The Communist Party of India (Maoist) is a Maoist communist political party... (complete with 2 references)? Is that article wrong? Hoof Hearted (talk) 12:55, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I mean, Communist Party of India (Maoist) itself and out of itself doesn't call it 'Maoist Communist Party', i.e., 'Maoist Communist Party' is not its name.Fire and Ice 14:17, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmm. Since there are several Communist Parties of India, I would view this as the (Maoist) Communist Party of India (just as there is a Marxist one, a Marxist-Leninist one, etc.). Would it be appropriate to redirect Maoist Communist Party of India to Communist Party of India (Maoist)? Hoof Hearted (talk) 18:35, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Do it if the party is named so.Fire and Ice 14:26, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A few more Maoist Communist Party articles that don't 100% match this form

Believe me, for longer DAB pages I am very much in favor of removing WP:PTM. But even on a medium length DAB (10-20 entries, my own opinion) I could see adding these articles that contain "Maoist", "Communist", and "Party" in their titles which could reasonably be seen as redirect targets for "Maoist Communist Party of __________". (To be sure, I wouldn't strictly define all of these a PTM anyway). Hoof Hearted (talk) 19:38, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This can be a new WP:Set index article. Jay (talk) 13:29, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
