Giulia Guarino, first Latin American women architect

Giulia Guarino or Julia Guarino Fiechter (born 17 July 1897; died 31 July 1985) was an Italian/Uruguayan architect. She was the first Latin American woman to graduate with a degree in architecture in 1923.

In Argentina, Filandia Elisa Pizzul graduated from the School of Architecture of the University of Buenos Aires becoming the first woman in her country to obtain the title of architect in 1927. --Imoisset (talk) 04:42, 23 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
