Who wrote this? Marc's brother, a PR outfit/Myspace friend, or some Black Crowes fan? POV everywhere jones willie! I'm not going to edit because I had some of my words of mine make it from the Crowes page to here and some newspaper ads/writeups cribbed from wiki. My writing/copyediting lives! This article needs some cleanup and more than a few cites. Suss this - get it right.

MF & the Neptune Blues Club

[edit]

Can anybody supply some info about the Neptune Blues Club? Is it a real band? Has it been existing before MF joined or did he put it together? And who's in it?--Rupert Pupkin (talk) 07:32, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dubious neutrality

[edit]

As far as I can see, the neutral point-of-view policy of Wikipedia is not really applied here. The Black Crowes section is a clear advocacy of Marc Ford's guitar skills (which I do NOT deny but which is contrary to WP policies) and severely lacks referencing. I hate to do that but I had to "plague" the article with [citation needed] tags.

Let us be clear, I am a huge Black Crowes fan and I believe Marc Ford is a tremendous guitar player but Wikipedia is not a fan page and should not be so "promoting" towards one's skills. Neutrality and reliable referencing are core policies of this website. SchwartzPadre (talk) 09:57, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
