Mitt Romney controversy[edit]

Any thoughts on whether the recent Mitt Romney controversy should be included? I think that it should be here, just because there will be some traffic coming here because of the comments, and there should be some acknowledgement of the event. There is a persistent effort from an IP address near Boca Raton (the site of the fundraiser controversy) to remove reference to the event.

Any unbiased Wikipedians want to chime in on the appropriateness of including the controversy? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.174.110.7 (talk) 14:29, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's public information, he's notable, he's rich, he's powerful, it may make history, and, if it's true, then it should be included. Bearian (talk) 20:07, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, what Bearian said. I came to this page only because of the controversy. Aardhart (talk) 00:58, 19 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Other than the Mitt thing, I have to say that this page reads like it was written by a Sun Capital PR person. Tdslk (talk) 03:04, 19 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, it probably was. Just look at the location of the IP address responsible for many changes (Boca Raton area) and the nature of many of those changes (constantly updating statistics, etc.). Same goes for Sun Capital Partners. There's a lot of solid biographical information in the NYT article if anyone wants to work on integrating it. And they are back at it. Aeduffin clearly exists exclusively to add positive details to this and Sun Capital Partners, and remove negative details. DoctorCaligari (talk) 18:23, 6 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
