Wider Context

[edit]

I am a postgraduate student and as part of my Masters degree in the History of Science, Medicine, Environment and Technology at the University of Kent, we have been asked to contribute to an existing Wikipedia page. The page is detailed and informative with regard to the political nature of the March of Intellect as well as useful in its deployment of links, particularly to key figures within this debate. I am in the process of editing the page with a focus on the wider context of the March of Intellect. I would like to include more information on the concept of knowledge and the social climate of the early nineteenth century, expanding upon some of the points already held within the page such as the spread of print culture. Any comments or thoughts on adding to the page would be welcomed; I am new to Wikipedia editing but eager to learn. Many thanks, Energhelz (talk) 16:54, 2 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
