8. The person is or has been the head or chief editor of a major, well-established academic journal in their subject area.

The subject is co-editor-in-chief of Accounting, Organizations and Society and is a former co-editor-in-chief of Critical Perspectives on Accounting, both of which are leading academic journals in the field of accounting.
