On the actual Italian origins of the family Ajmone-Marsan[edit]

About the Italian - and not Swiss - origin of the family Ajmone-Marsan, headed by the entrepreneur Marco Ajmone-Marsan (1859 - Turin, 1918) in the second half of the 19th Century, I received the following letter from his great-grandson Marco, professor at the Politecnico di Torino: "Good Morning. I have read the pages. Thanks. When I come back to Turin, I will inform you about the anagraphic data relating to my great-grandfather Marco's children. In the meantime I can already tell you that the statement concerning the Swiss origin - which is also reported on the website of Juventus - is false. My family has indeed Italian origins, stemming from the area around the town of Biella (precisely from Crosa, in the Ajmone district). I can also confirm that Annibale has not migrated to the United States. His grandchildren live mainly in Rome. Best regards. Marco Ajmone-Marsan" Mgvongoeden (talk) 21:50, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
